The road is badly damaged by the cloudburst.
We distributed about 800 warm blankets in two villages.

The cloudburst which occurred in August caused a lot of damage to villagers and livestock. Lots of buildings, houses, shops, markets, etc., were washed away in the river which was very destructive.  People lost all their belongings and did not get time to collect their stuff; they only had time to save themselves and run to higher ground for shelter.

As many as 150 people are still unaccounted for, and it is feared that they have been carried away in the flash floods caused by the cloudburst. Please be in prayer for these people and the families they have left behind.

Mussoorie Church Fellowship donated blankets to the needy and distressed people of Uttarkashi. We are thankful for the opportunity to show God's love in action to the people of Uttarkashi.
