What an amazing week! We are on our way back to Honolulu after spending this time in Mussoorie at The Firs. Once again God proved that our agendas aren't the only ones that are in play. We plan, God laughs!  And He laughed a lot this week!

So much of what we wanted to do, God saw fit to change, and He performed miracles far greater than our expectations.  From the young men at The Firs to the young ladies in the Salvation Home and onto the Cafe Hilife in Rajpur (Dehradun), God has been blessing in amazing ways.  But not only in those places, but also in the hearts and minds of every single one of the team that journeyed from NHDH last week.

I would never have thought that literally driving up a mountain to the 7500 ft level would have created a spiritual mountaintop experience in our lives the way it has in these last 7 days.  It's an amazing thing to see God at work in the hearts and lives of the young men at Firs and to be drawn in by their love and friendship.  In just the same way, in Dehradun at the Salvation Home for young girls, God showed up in miraculous ways amongst the team and the young girls (and boys) at the home.  In Rajpur, at Cafe Hilife, we saw the continuation of a story that had been shared with us a few weeks before via Joe. In that place, a group of Tibetan Buddhist monks have found real meaning in life through their commitment to Jesus Christ as Lord, and are now sharing their faith with those around them through the unique ministry of Cafe Hilife.

In the US, we think we have so many of the answers, and yet we are most often not as effective at reaching the lost in our own communities as these are in their communities.  Hopefully the lessons learned during this mission trip will bring about changes in our lives that will help us become more effective in that task.

It has been an amazing week.
