Hello Indian family!

I'm Noah and I'm new to the team this year! I'm very excited for our trip and this opportunity. From what I hear, I know God is doing great things out there and I am honored to be apart of it.

The scripture I feel that God has put in my heart for this trip is James 1:2-4:

Consider it pure joy my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.

This really speaks to me by encouraging me when times are tough I am going to come out of it stronger in my faith. Hardships build upon your character and your bond with God so this scripture helps me to see the good in the trials I face.

Can't wait to come back!!

Aloha India Family!

I'm VERY excited to be coming to visit in just a few short weeks! I can't wait to be able to hang out with each of you and experience God together! Last time I wasn't able to play cricket so I'm hoping this will be the trip to learn from all of you!

The verse I feel God has given me as a rudder for this trip is Mark 9:21-24 but specifically verse 23.

" 'If you can?' said Jesus. 'Everything is possible for one who believes."

This verse encourages me that no matter what I've been through in life, no matter what I think is impossible or hopeless, Jesus himself promises that EVERYTHING is possible with FAITH!!

See you all soon!!!

Sincerely,
Paul Kiriakos

ALOHA! ( I'm new :P )

Aloha India family!

My name is James, and I am new to the group, but so excited to meet all of you in just 5 weeks!  I can't wait to get to know everybody...I've heard so many great things about you all and what God is doing.

The verse that I came to me for this upcoming mission is the following:
"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ." -Colossians 3:23-24

It speaks to me and reminds me that if I focus on serving the Lord, I am able to pour my heart into serving my fellow brothers and sisters wholeheartedly as a result...but if I ONLY focus on pouring my heart into serving people, I may not necessarily be serving the Lord.

See you all soon!

In Him,
James
